Dark Beast

[This content is for mid/late-game players, like who wants to craft Homunculus or Reappraisal stones.]

This is the most easier Beast in the game. He will grant “Soul Chain” to one of your monsters. This effect will completely exclude the target from the battle. It will be removed when you hit the boss a designated number of times.
You just need to multihit as Hell.

FRONTLINE:
Colleen + a multihit Damage Dealer with sustain, like Chamie, or an other multihit Attack buffer like Fran or Hwahee (that’s why he will apply Soul Chain to one of your front liners, and if he do this on Colleen, for a few turns you will don’t have Attack buff.

BACKLINE:
Absolutely the Blue Twins if you have, Kung Fu Girls (Xiao Lin and/or Fei), Raoq, Shihwa and/or Lushen. Grego and Verde are good units here, but not essential.

Have fun!

Light Beast

[This content is for mid/late-game players, like who wants to craft Homunculus or Reappraisal stones.]

The Light Beast casts a shield that decreases the received damage and increases the inflicted damage. This shield shares the damage inflicted on the Light Beast and substantially decreases the inflicted damage when receiving multiple hits.

FRONTLINE:
Obviously you should use colleen, because you need Attack buff. You don’t really need other supports, just BIG single target damage dealers. As second front liner you can use Mei Hou Wang, Xing Zhe, Laika or other DPS that don’t get oneshotted.

BACKLINE:
In the backline you should just go with non-multihit Damage Dealers. The best mobs for this role are: Lyn, Brandia, Luna (Dark Pierret), Bethony (Dark Magical Archer), Mara (Dark Amazon), Lushen, Perna ecc.

Just pump up your damage and you will have 0 issues.

Good luck

Ice Beast

[This content is for mid/late-game players, like who wants to craft Homunculus or Reappraisal stones.]

This Beast is not extreamly difficult to beat. His special ability is “Freezing Air” and it freezes 75% of the MAX HP. The frozen HP will be substantially recovered proportionate to the increased amount of Attack Bar.

FRONTLINE:
Like in every other beast, you will need Attack buff! That’s why I recommend you to use colleen or chasun (both are good, but colleen gives 3 turns Atk+ / beside chasun heals and tanks more).
As second front liner a tanky Bernard would be optimal, because he gives Speed buff, and for survive this Buff is substantial.

BACKLINE:
You can really use what ever you want as damage dealers. Lushen, Lagmaron, the blue/yellow twins, Sigmarus, Theomars, Taor.. Every good Wind and Water single target damage dealer.

Wind Beast

[This content is for mid/late-game players, like who wants to craft Homunculus or Reappraisal stones.]

This Beast has a horrible passive: he applies “Electric Shock” (the damage you receive will increase under the Electric Shock Effect. The recovery amount you receive will be decreased by 50% and you’ll be inflicted with Continuous Damage proportionate to 10% of your MAX HP every turn. You must reach 100% HP in order to remove this effect).

FRONT LINE:
That’s why you should bring at least 2 healers here: Colleen/Hwahee (that heals and grants attack buff) and a second healer like Belladeon (or Louise if you got):

BACK LINE:
In the back line you should put 4 fire damage dealers like Trevor, Laika, Shihwa (all recommended in vampire) and Brandia if you have. An other very very very good unit for Wind Beast is Perna, she is an awesome damage dealer and helps a lot with heals.

Good luck !!

Fire Beast

[This content is for mid/late-game players, like who wants to craft Homunculus or Reappraisal stones.]

This Beast is easy to beat since you have AoE damage. It spawns 8 fire minions and you should kill them before the Beast get another turn, or they will explode on your team and kill you.
You should bring at least 2 AoE mobs, like Lapis, Taor, Zaiross, Shi hou or Brandia for example.
If you have Brandia you should put her in the team 100%, because she has AoE damage (2° skill) and is the best single target damage dealer in the game (her 3° skill is really awesome).
Let’s talk about what is needed. Definitely  Atk+ buff and Def Break, if you got  Brand is optimal.
The best attack buffer is Colleen, which you can use in frontline, and she will be your tank/support/healer.
As second front liner you can use a water damage dealer (takes -15% critical hits from boss) or a hybrid support like Anavel (with +950/1000atk she is able to kill a minion wave with 3° skill).
In the back line you just need to go with 2 AoE and 2 strong single target damage dealers (Talia and Sabrina are the top).

Is not that hard 😛

Good luck

Raid 5

Raid 5 is a very difficult content, you will need good runes too, not just the right mobs.

For a safe (lie, in R5 nothing is safe), but not to slow team you should use:
1) One Damage reduction unit (like Dias, Darion, or Def+ buff)
2) One/Two Cleaner. One if it has the skill every 3 turns (like Kona, or Anavel). If you want to be safer put in a second one (like Lisa or Amarna) even if it has 4-5 turns CD.
3) Attack buff. Use Bastet or Colleen because she puts Atk- and Uncoverable to the Boss. Debuff are very important here!! (remember that if you use Bastet you needs one more healer on the team).
4) Damage Dealers based of Harmful effects are the best here (like Brandia and the Xiao Lin), but Fei, Hwa, Mei Hou Wang are good units too for Raid.

FRONTLINE:
Dias/Darion (at least 1 set on revenge runes, 70% resist HP DEF DEF/HP).
Bastet/Colleen (don’t need violent runes, just very fast and tanky SPD HP DEF/HP).
Xiong Fei/Mei Hou Wang (if you use this front, put the front unit with less Def in Backline)
Cleaners:
If you use Bastet –> Anavel/Amarna (if you have) and Kona
If you use Colleen –> Kona/Anavel/Amarna (if you have) and Lisa/Dona(light penguin)

BACKLINE:
Hwa, Brandia, Xiao Lin, Fei, Homunculus Wind and/or Cadiz.

In R5 the Leader skill used are: Def, Resist, Rate.
So if you have Dias/Praha, Baster/Xiong Fei/ Mei Hou Wang and Hwa in your team, you will not have problems.

Good luck and have fun.

HOW TO NECROPOLIS B10

screenshot_20190105-135008

Welcome to the last pillar of Cairos: NB10

This is the most difficult dungeon, but it is not impossible. You only need to know how to do it.

The Boss has a shield that covers 7 hits every turn, this means you have to bring monsters that do multi hit.
If you don’t have the twins (Chakram dancer and Boomerang warrior) and you want to farm it with f2p units, you will need:

  1. at least 1 Healer/Buffer (with multi hit and Atk+ buff), like Colleen, Hwahee or Fran.
  2. Lapis (Good damage dealer, 3 hits with the first skill and 4 hits with the second one. Her AoE damage helps a lot in the previous stages.)
  3. One Lich like Fuco or Rigel (Damage dealer + multi hit + speed debuff!!!)
  4. If you want to fusion Xiong Fei, he is optimal for the first necro team.
  5. Last slot can be fulled by an other multi hit damage dealer like Xiao Lin or Hwa. Other side if you want to be safer (but doing slower runs), you can put an other healer  like Belladeon, Emma or something like that.

Tips:

I recommend Revenge runes to the monsters who have multi hits in the first skill, and Violent runes to everyone in the team.
This Boss is immune to Attack bar manipulation, but you can still put the Speed debuff on him (this is very important!)

HOW TO DRAGON B10

screenshot_20190105-134810

Here we go guys! Farming DB10 is the most difficult goal to reach in early game, but is not impossible!

The thing you need to know is that it does damage based on the DoTs on your mobs, that’s why you need to cleanse.
Like in Giant, for Dragon you will need definitely Veromos and Belladeon.

Veromos = cleanses with passive (he must have at least +70/80spd in violent or +100spd in swift, because he has to do as many turns as possible)
Belladeon = Heals and boosts attack gauge, applies def break and strips immunity to the boss with the second skill.

For a safe DB10 run, you need many attack gauge manipulation effects. (The best monster for this job is Verdehile, but in early game not everyone has it.)
You already have Belladeon, but is not enough! A perfect team member can be Megan, she buffs attack gauge, attack and defense (and she strips the boss like Belladeon).
An other contender is Spectra, she is easy to build and she is the best f2p Boss killer in the game (used by 95% players against ToaH Bosses). Besides Spectra has AoE Attack bar reduction, which make it perfect for the role.

The last place should be covered by an other healer (like basalt that has attack bar control too), a damage dealer (Sigmarus/Theomars) or an utility monster like VerdehileHwa or Chilling.

[If you are very lucky and got Shaina/Talia & Sabrina, DB10 will no longer be a problem]

HOW TO GIANT B10

screenshot_20190105-134335

How to do farm GB10 in early game? hmm.. That’s not a problem! Just follow some advices below:

  1. First of all don’t build temporary monsters like Shannon. She is useful for the first period, but it’s a mob that only use is to start farm giant. Instead of wasting time making her 5⭐, use that time to exp a durable monster (or for Arang fusion).
  2. Remember what you need in a rooky solid team: Cleanse (the Boss applies def break, and if he does earthquake you will lose instantly), double Heal or Heal + Damage reduction, Def break, Attack reduction (+ glancing if you got), Strip (the left crystal applies Atk+ to the Boss, is not nice).
  3. When you try to reach GB10, probably you already have Lapis and/or Veromos 6⭐ and Belladeon 5/6⭐. Veromos is essential (cleanse, helps doing damage with DoTs on the Boss, and don’t underestimate the AoE stun for 1-4 stages). Belladeon is essential too (consistent healstripdef break), but her heal isn’t enough for a starter account with low runes. That’s why we need something else; nothing better than Darion (20% allies Damage reduction, Def breakAtk reduction). Now you have everything except the damage. You can use Lapis (strong AoE damage and heals herself, so she don’t die even if Belladeon fails) and Arang (very strong single target damage, puts glancing hit on the Boss, and heals + shields herself. She is a very solid fusionable unit).
  4. Probably you already got good 4⭐ wind units, how Woochi or Hraesvelgr. With them you can easily replace Darion or Lapis.
  5. You don’t need such good runes, just try to reach 45% accuracy on Belladeon, +60/70spd on Belladeon and Veromos and min. +40spd on the other 3 units.

RUNES:

Veromos: SPD HP HP  (violent)
Belladeon
: SPD HP HP (swift or violent) 45% accuracy
Darion
: HP HP HP (full tank)
Lapis
: ATK DMG ATK (despair/fatal/vamp)
Arang
: ATK DMG ATK or ATK DMG HP (fatal/rage)

I HOPE YOU GET MANY LEGENDARY  NON-FLAT 6⭐ RUNES ❤

General Tips (early game)

I suggest to the new players to spam in the channel 110-120 to see if someone accepts the friendship, try to arrive as soon as possible to faimon and take the LD scroll. If you don’t get LD nat5 reset account.

ahahah just kiddin’. The first goal you must reach is to bring a farmer mob to 6⭐ (how Lapis).

With Lapis you can easy farm Faimon Hell. She is a very strong unit for all early game PvE contents (Giant, Dragon, Necro) until you reach at least midgame.

I have seen that most of the new players make two main mistakes. So I give you 2 new additional tips:

  1. Fusion Veromos only after you have brought at least one farmer to 6. It will save you a lot of time, trust me.
  2. Sigmarus is not essential!!! It can be a waste of time, because you will realize that he is totally replaceable. You will not use him in PvP; you will use him only for the first DB10 team, but there are many solid farmable teams for DB10 without Sigmarus.

The second goal consists to farm safe and auto GB10, so you will be able to farm the basic runes for the other content.

[PS: If you are lucky and you drop Shaina, Talia and Sabrina, you will be happy, because the twins conquered the monopoly of Cairos. With them you will clear easy and fast every dungeon (and they don’t need such good runes).]

HOW TO SPEND BETTER YOUR RESOURCES:

One of the biggest problem on Summoners War for the newbies is how to spend Crystals.
Should we spend all our crystals summoning? NO
Should we spend all our crystals refreshing energy? NO, not in early game. For two reasons:

1. Is difficult and not funny at all do everything with just farmable monsters. In games like SW, summoning is the most exciting thing.
2. Summons help even for the amount of food they drop.

Until you reach liv50 and safe DB10 in auto mode, spend most crystals for 750cry packs. All the events, quests and levelling up, don’t let you high and dry!

Something that many player underestimate, is the Magic shop. Buy all the slots as fast as possible!!! 😛

Last Tip: HAVE A LOT OF FUN!!!
